The recent survey report shows that more work is needed within the sector to improve organisations鈥 HR processes.

  • Men are more likely than women to enter the sector without any formal application process.
  • Women paid employees are less likely than men to feel they are treated fairly, and that they have the support of their management.
  • Amongst paid employees, women are more likely to see 鈥榖ias鈥 as a barrier than men.

The following resources support organisations to improve HR processes and create strategies for change:

Get access to the MyHR digital platform

This is a platform to manage employee and contractor information and a helpline to call and get support of any basic queries and people processes. The set-up phase also includes an HR health check and review of all policies. 爆料社区 currently pays 50% of subscriptions to MyHR member services for investment partners (up to a limit of 40 employees).

Take part in an annual remuneration survey

爆料社区 sponsors an annual survey of the salaries and benefits provided in the sport and recreation sector. A remuneration consultancy collects the data in March each year and prepares a remuneration report that covers the sector and wider not-for-profit employment market. Participation is free for national and regional sport and recreation organisations, and you will receive customised reports and access to an online database. Any organisation who submits their data can receive a copy of the final report.
