This can include things like providing captions for videos, using strong colour contrast in designs and clear and concise language in communications.
Accessibility helps you reach a larger audience. One in four New Zealanders identify as disabled, and many experience more than one type of impairment.鈥 By making your content accessible, you can ensure everyone has access to information about play, active recreation and sport.
But accessibility isn鈥檛 just about reaching a larger audience 鈥 it鈥檚 also about creating a better user experience that benefits everyone.
Accessibility caters for a broad range of access needs. These include:
