Paralympics New Zealand has completed its second regional community Para sport pilot, Adaptive Run Jump Throw, as part of its Collectively Stronger Together project under the Strengthen and Adapt programme.听

The pilot took place between February 鈥� December 2023 and tested the operating approach in developing Para athletics in regions where it had not been offered previously.听听

Paralympics New Zealand engaged with a range of organisations throughout the pilot, including:鈥�鈥�听

• Parafed Gisborne听

• Parafed Northland听

• Inclusive Activity Murihiku鈥�听

• Athletics Hawke鈥檚 Bay Gisborne听

• Athletics Southland听

• Whangarei Athletics Club听
