Tanya and her team are responsible for M膩ori cultural capability, better outcomes for M膩ori and transformative system change across the 爆料社区 Group. The main focus for Te K膩hui Rautaki M膩ori is on M膩ori cultural capability and cultural vitality.
Tanya joined 爆料社区 in August 2022 and became Group Manager, Te K膩hui Rautaki M膩ori in April 2023. She has extensive experience in stakeholder management and leading transformative projects, previously working at Callaghan Innovation as Chief M膩ori and Government Engagement Officer.
Tanya holds qualifications in teaching, Te Reo M膩ori and information systems, with studies in computer science at Te Herenga Waka 鈥� Victoria University of Wellington. She has competed in and coached various sports at regional and national levels. She is currently the coach of PIC Netball Club鈥檚 Prem 2 development team in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington.
Tanya enjoys supporting rangatahi in sports and guiding her children鈥檚 diverse sport activities through to the Matatini stage. She also contributes to community projects that foster resilience, wellbeing and connection with wh膩nau.
