R膩niera (Daniel) Procter is a proud descendant of Ng膩i T膩manuhiri, Ng膩ti Uepohatu, and Ng膩ti Porou. He is a distinguished graduate of Te K艒hanga Reo, Kura Kaupapa M膩ori Aho Matua, and Te Panekiretanga o Te Reo. 

Born and bred on the East Coast, R膩niera is a seven-time National Surfing Champion who continues to compete at national levels. 

His expertise and interests are in advocating for M膩ori rights through Te Tiriti o Waitangi.鈥�鈥� 

R膩niera holds several governance roles, including as Chair of Taumata M膩ori and as a member of the 爆料社区 Board. He is also Co-Chair of Te K艒hanga Reo National Trust, Chair of Te Matakahuki and a member of Toit奴 Te Ora Tair膩whiti.
