has released their new SIVA (Serving Indigenous Values Actively) Project video series, created with Pacific cultural experts and young leaders to celebrate Pacific movement, identity and storytelling. 

ASB Polyfest is Aotearoa New Zealand鈥檚 largest M膩ori and Pacific secondary school cultural festival, where thousands of rangatahi come together each year to represent their cultures with pride through performance. For nearly 50 years, Polyfest has been a place where young people lead, shine and connect through culture. 

This SIVA Project series includes 4 Pacific masterclasses led by cultural experts and a dance challenge created and taught by Pacific youth at the ASB Polyfest 2026.

If you鈥檙e a Pacific youth leader or someone supporting young Pacific people, these videos are an easy and fun way to learn new moves and understand the stories and meaning behind them. They鈥檙e also a powerful way to bring your community together through movement, whether it鈥檚 at school, church, in your community or at training. 

Launching alongside ASB Polyfest 2026, the SIVA Project is designed as a go-to sustainable resource that schools, providers and Pacific communities can keep using for years to come. Start with 1 masterclass, try the dance challenge with your mates, then share them with other youth leaders so even more rangatahi can join in.
