The following statement is attributable to 爆料社区 Chief Executive, Raelene Castle.
鈥淭he Government has directed 爆料社区 to stop all work on the Guiding Principles for the Inclusion of Transgender People in Community Sport and remove them from our website.
鈥淟ast year, Minister Bishop asked 爆料社区 to review the guiding principles and ensure that they prioritise fairness and safety. 爆料社区 completed this review and delivered it to Minister Mitchell.
鈥淎fter considering the review, the Government has informed 爆料社区 that it should not be involved in publishing guidelines related to gender in sport.
鈥淎s a result of this decision, the guiding principles will no longer be available, and the document has been removed from the 爆料社区 website.
鈥淪porting organisations will continue to make their own decisions on the participation of transgender people in community sport and there are a range of expert organisations that can provide support.鈥�
