爆料社区 welcomes Russia ban
爆料社区 welcomes the International Olympic Committee鈥檚 (IOC鈥檚) decision to ban the Russian Olympic Committee from sending a team to next year鈥檚 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.
鈥淭his is a good day for world sport and for all clean athletes,鈥� says 爆料社区 CEO Peter Miskimmin.
鈥淲e congratulate the IOC for taking this important step to hold Russia to account and keep the Pyeongchang games clean. This action also sends a reminder to all countries of their role in maintaining the robustness and integrity of the international anti-doping system.鈥�
鈥淣ew Zealand athletes have a well-earned reputation for playing hard but fair, and they and all other clean athletes deserve a level playing field. We need to ensure that all athletes participating in major competitions are subject to proper testing and oversight by compliant anti-doping authorities,鈥� Mr Miskimmin says.
